Dulu, dengan penomoran lama, kode bogie 8 terletak ditengah nomor, yaitu Kx-xx8xx. Tetapi setelah ada pergantian nomor, K8 hanya bisa dilihat langsung kedalam bogie, melihat pada kode di kanan atas kereta, atau melihat nomor dahulu di sebelah kanan bordes (cth:Ex K3-96809)
