Chinese bullet train maker China South Locomotive & Rolling Stock Corp (CSR) China has recalled 54 high-speed trains, which are being used on the Beijing-Shanghai high-speed railway, over safety concerns.
State-owned CSR said the recall applied to model CRH380BL trains used on the Beijing-Shanghai line.
The announcement follows the moratorium on new rail projects and a reduction in the speed of high-speed trains across the country.
China had ordered increased safety checks after a fatal train collision that killed 40 people last month.
A total of 67 high-speed trains are in operation on the Beijing-Shanghai railway, CSR said.
