untuk lintas utara Jawa bisa pakai Lok Elektrik krn tidak ada terowongan.....
lebih ramah lingkungan dgn Lok elektrik dan dipo pun jadi bersih,tidak banyak ceceran oli

kapasitas lok CC 201 ato 03 kalo ga salah 3000an liter dan dulu pernah denger dari para mass kalo lok C1 ato C3 setiap 1 km menghabiskan sekitar 2,5 liter HSD dan katanya khusus buat lok DIPO INDUK BD bisa menghabiskan 3 liter HSD setiap jarak 1 km... kalo salah mohon koreksinya.. New_bye

tapi dibandingkan dengan biaya instalasi LAA nya dan perawatannya, kayaknya masih mending pake lok disel-elektrik deh.

FYI...Solar Indonesia tu HSD(High Sulfur Diesel) kandungan sulfurnya di atas 5000ppm(klo gak salah), diperuntukan buat mesin diesel generasi lawas, yang belom punya teknologi commonrail, dll. Makanya Toyota sampe sempet stop produksi Innova diesel, karena cepet jebol klo di kasih solar, maunya DEX.

Yang paling bersih dan efisien ya KRL, berbahan bakar listrik....
Tp blm memingkinkan sepertinya karena listriknya cuma di Jabotabek...

Tambah kecepatan kereta api agar tdk kalah bersaing setelah Toll Trans-Jawa rampung...

lha bahan bakar pembangkit listrik pakai apa? Batubara, HSD, bikin asap juga.

ga pake data scr logika mesin lstrik lbh efisien, itu sebabnya negara maju seperti di Eropa dan Jepang pd menggunakan listrik...

Kalo saya sich berpendapat bahan bakar lokomotif pake HSD ato sejenisnya (yg lebih ramah lingkungan). Kalo pake tenaga listrik terus sampe pasang LAA segala malah ngerusak view langit biru.

nih dia yang namanya liner tempat piston lokomotif mengabutkan HSD sebagai bahan bakarnya

nah yang ini namanya motor traksi tempat tenaga di salurkan dari pembakaran ke motor diesel lalu ke motor traksi lalu di teruskan ke roda lokomotif

tidak terbayangkan keindahan trem uap ketika lalu lalang di bawah jembatan kereta api jatinegara

Mungkin bisa sedikit memberikan bantuan..

Perhitungan effiensi di motor diesel kan kaya perhitungan thermal effisiensi.. secara sederhana perhitungan efisiensi maksimalnya pake siklus carnot aja [1-(suhu rendah/suhu tinggi)]*100%

sedangkan perhitungan effiensi motor listrik itu perbandingan daya masuk terhadap daya keluar. daya masuknya berupa energi listrik (V*I). sedangkan daya keluarnya = daya masuk-rugi stator(I^2*R)-rugi rotor(I^2*R)-rugi hambatan bearing,termasuk hambatan kipas saat rotor berputar, atau biasanya diasumsikan menjadi rugi-rugi mekanis, sisanya dapat diabaikan.

sehingga kemungkinan, effisiensi motor listrik (motornya doank) di atas 90%.. jadi ga heran kenapa ko di luar banyak pake listrik.
